CardioBridge GmbH is a privately held German company formed in 2004 based in the south- west of Germany in Hechingen. Today CardioBridge is a R&D company developing a unique percutaneous circulatory support device the Reitan Catheter Pump. After acquisition of the project from JOMED, CardioBridge started 2006 with the aim to bring this unique technique to the market. Cardiobridge started with the first in man clinical investigation of the Reitan Catheterpump successfully in 2007. Clinical investigations are currently performed to further investigate the Reitan Catheter Pump in daily clinical use. With the aim to offer the best possible treatment solution for percutaneous mechanical circulatory support, the company is working on smaller but more effective devices with a minimum of side effects to the patient. The next important milestone for CardioBridge is the CE mark for the new 10F RCP system. The CardioBridge team is a small team of high experienced engineers supported by clinical and regulatory specialists. |
